When a Catholic priest with no previous parish experience arrived, he faced a building in severe disrepair, but he realized that there was an even deeper need: to restore the faith and sacred culture of the parish community.

On Assignment focuses on the struggles of a 36 year old, inner-city Christian School in financial trouble and on the verge of closing its doors forever. Despite the school’s impending closure, the new principal and her teachers refuse to give up; they continue to work, pray, trust and wait on a miracle of God.

The third in our On Assignment series, St. Peter Parish, Restoring the Sacred in Omaha follows the efforts of a young pastor, Fr. Damien Cook, renovating one of the cities oldest churches and promoting the restoration of the sacred in the process.
Completed and presented in September, 2010 to an audience of 9000 at the Qwest Center. National broadcast of extended version on EWTN coming in 2011.

This short, one-minute video briefly describes Omaha's annual Corpus Christi Procession, as organized by Fr. Damien Cook and many others in the St. Peter and Our Lady of Lourdes parishes of Omaha. This is excerpted from our documentary "St. Peter: Restoring the Sacred in Omaha" but will later be expanded into it's own full documentary about the Real Presence.
